Art...

Well now, it's been a little while since I've picked up a pencil and started going at the sketchbook, but over the weekend I couldn't help it, and I came up with something really nice... Thoughout the school week we had done a tiny thing on graffiti, and I got really inspired, so I decided to cut my design out into a stencil. Upon completing it, and as soon an I got to a can of paint, I started spraying various items of my clothing, later on that night I went to my usual hang out spot, and I was astonished by the fact that everyone went crazy over my work, I had a line formed of people that wanted many things sprayed (Shirts, sweatshirts, hats, even a leather jacket!) A good friend of mine even wants me to make him a big themed stencil for this car, "The doom cruiser". To just have everyone respect, and want to represent your artwork was a great feeling, I just hope that they continue to wear what I made for them with pride. There will be many more stencils to come now.

Also after many hours and hours spent trying to figure out Venus Hum's dress from the video "I Feel Love" with the Blue Man Group, I've finally figured out that it was Electroluminescent Wire or, EL wire for short. I had been hoping that the dress was a sertain sort of material that I could purchase, but the problem with the wire is the fact that it must've taken months to make, so I did what any other lazy designer would, and I'm making my stencil design on the back of my coat into a glowing peice of art. That is going to be really nice... It'll be a buncha work but it'll get done!

And last but certainly not least, the Vash duster that I have dedicated myself to is coming along nicely. The top part of the coat is finished, and I only have to attach buttons, sew the button holes (<- Pain in the arse part), and add the finishing touches, and she'll be ready for AB06, which I am not finacially prepaired for in the least bit, but will be attending one way or another. When all is said and done, this year in the fashion field is turning out to be one of the best for me, Chicago look out! A new fashion superstar is on the way! xd

P.S. Ohh here is the design that I made the stencil from, I'm thinking of having some stickers made. mrgreen
