There was a time when you noticed me, when my life was just another normal life.

Now, you're all i have and you are just the shadow of who i once was.

I linger in the darkness, away from my cruel past, invisible to the painful lies, betrayal , and crime.

Echos of this changing world find their way through my forever darkened soul.

I crave to escape into the light and once again be a part of life,

But, scared of what i had become, i cower back down,

Invisible to this world.
