I tried not to lean too heavily on the item set of the same name here. I started out with the intention of making a sort of poster to advertise my desire for an Ancient Katana. I tanked up with every pose of that item tektek had, but then arose the problem of clothes. This was the only time I actually used Land of the Rising Sun items. The bow stems from the fact (which I happen to find *awesome*) that samurai were originally an army's mounted archers, who gradually gained prestige (and swords), and so became the hacking, slashing, swordsdudes we know and love today. I added the Rising Sun on a whim, and it worked out pretty darned well! I thought her feet looked a bit plain in just socks and sandals, so I added the forest. It definetly lends a sort of "Princess Mononoke" feel to the whole thing. The zorro mask also adds to the feeling of mysteries of the Orient.
The end result is: a miko-kitsune, armed and ready for action under the bloodred sun! Can you believe this started out as a kimono?
