"Maybe this year I will, Stan."Libra said."I heard it was alot of fun last year."
"Really was, too,"Stanley yapped, proudly."See ya later, Lib."
She stashed the grocceries in her saddle bags and pulled the bike out onto the road. Thinking about the quickly dropping temperature, she pulled across Elm Street to the hardware store. Unlike many of the locals, she didn't have much of an affinity for the owner of the mom-and-pop store's owner, a shy, thick-built man known to the world as simply Gus. She bought a large heater and requested it's delivery to the bookstore.
"Watch tthe roads, ma'am. With the weather like it is they get icy real quick."Gus said as she left.
"I will Gus, thank you."That was about as much as she ever spoke with the quiet shopkeep.
