Aren't there some great words in the dictionary?!? Squish is one of my favorites, such a squashy, cuddly, snuggly word and so much potential for use in conversation! Giving some one a good hard squish is one of the nicest things ever, but I have found that more often than not it leads to some awkward situations.

Uh huh, we all have those, but mine are a bit more specific! I've discovered the existance of Squissues.

During this, my lengthiest stretch of singledom to date, I've been taking a lot more notice of the kind of men I seem to attract. They all seem to be very nice, polite and attentive young men. Fantastic.
So we go out a few times, have a few drinks, chat on the phone, couple of texts. A couple of weeks and we take it up a level on the squish factor. Cuddles, snogs, holding hands and all that other soppy nonsense. It's very pleasant, but somehow it causes squissues.
Suddenly the niceness starts to dwindle, they make less and less effort. Perhaps it gets boring or perhaps they're starting to panic incase the squish-factor increases again. Perhaps a bit of both. Perhaps it's some kind of weird chemical reaction caused by transfer of spit when snogging.
I'm convinced it's the last one.
And if you can ignore the squissues for longer than a few weeks and upgrade to swapping fluids other than spit it just increases the intensity of the whole soggy mess. And to put it bluntly, condoms work well at preventing babies and itches but for some reason they don't protect you against this!
Carl Jung
The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.
HAH! Proof!
I am convinced that these squissues definitely require further investigation. There must be some way of balancing it out so that your snuggle-buddy doesn't catch squissues and end up in a relationshit with you.
I have a feeling some practical experimentation may be in order.
