Wow.
So today's the day that I remember how I got where I am now and perhaps look up a few of my old buddies who helped me out when I got here!
So here goes, this'll probably be a HUGE post

There we are! The old crew! All moved here from Game FAQ's when it got too n00by! Thank goodness for Raptaur for pointing me in this direction or I'd still be still be sat there all on my lonesome surrounded by muppets!
So what did I do when I got here?

Well, after several weeks of haggling, selling and saving I was almost there with my wings! Suddenly a little giftwrapped box arrived and inside were my wings, donated by a fantastic Gaian who had watched my quest thead and decided I was worthy of Wingness! The gold I'd saved was dished out by me and Emojin between other quest threads that had been going for as long as mine. That had to be one of the most satisfying afternoons I've spent on Gaia in all my time here!

While I was questing I met a young lady called Maeko Hana who had seen my art and commissioned a drawing of her avi. It was my first bit of Avi Art and inspired me to open my Avatar Art Shop where I spent the majority of my time for the next few months.
Feel free to look but plese don't post, I'm trying to let it die!

Many customers came to my shop and I met some fantastic people in the R&C forum, but the drawing was taking over my life and by Christmas I was worn out so with some regrets I closed my little shop and wandered round Gaia for a while to see what else was here. While I was wandering I caught sight of my first ever commission in a thread in the Exchange, it was in Amenti's shop and I was so pleased to see my work still on display! So that's where I stayed, in the exchange.
First off it was a little shop, selling tat and gubbins, but soon it grew and I gained a fantastic group of friends who came every day to chat and hang out and before I knew it I had a pile of donation letters and a wodge of Gaia Gold and there I was back in the wanted forum buying a Devil Tail!

So I set up my quest expecting another 500 page mission but even before I hit page 5 along came Atreau and acceted my offer!

Which brings us up to March. This saw the begining of my Stash for a Sash Dash! I didn't hold my breath but I got there in the end and more amazing than being able to get a D Tail AND a Sash in 2 months was going back over my threads and seeing all the wonderful people who'd kept me company, cheered me on, supported me and helped me out!
And here I am, one year on.
The most amazing thing about this year has been the people I've met! *huggles you all* I used to look at the people with thousands of posts in their topics and wonder how they did it! They'd log on and suddenly everyone was saying hello! Now I can do that too and it's a wicked feeling! So I'm kind of dedicating my Gaiaversary Journal post to all my shop buddies, past and present! You've made my first year here a wonderful one and here's looking forward to the second!

You were the first person i met on Gaia.. 3nodding *remembers Gaia ball Exchange whore thread...... and then proceeds to thank God that he went there* and now i know what an Exchange Whore is!! xd
After that had caught the pixie bug and knew there was no point in going anywhere else!!
The last 2 months of my Gaia life have been spent lurking in the bestest shop on Gaia *points at your shop* and i don't plan on moving!! wink
