Golden riches,
I live;
pampered beyond reasoning,
all handed with smiles,
never to feel poverty.
Golden riches,
I am;
engraved in my being,
brave and charming façade,
befitting a would-be-king.
Golden riches,
I resent;
as I clothe myself,
caged by traditions,
chained by duties.
Golden riches,
I escape;
on an adventuring quest,
a tower I arrive,
lured by an enchanting siren.
Golden riches,
I remember;
wanting to liberate,
my beloved free to be,
alas wickedness cursed me unseeing.
Golden riches,
I found;
incomparable to my heart's whisper,
what was nothing is everything,
elixir of a maiden's tear.
Golden riches,
I return;
a changed man,
never to be the same,
faithful beside a miraculous wonder.

Description:
The classic fairy tale in the eyes of the Prince.
This is my rendition of the classics instead of the Disney version.
I am experimenting with different language styles and this is one of them.
