• Stargazing

    They gather in our eyes
And we feel how they tremble.
    Facing the darkness
    While bleeding light, they assemble.

    They shimmer in our eyes
    As we become their reflection,
    Our eternal essence entertained
    By light from every spectrum.

We say "star light star bright"
While we pray for stars to fall.
But even if we wish it
We can't hold the stars at all.

We souls can only catch them
As they fall within our eyes
    And permeate the darkness
Of not just the evening skies.
