This is my pre-dawn departure.
Ice, misting rain, pricking my face, my arms.
I feel nothing, already soaked.
I wear no coat, why should I?
The mist won't last the day
The sun will come out and play.
I can walk without hands,
Run without wings,
I can swim without a boat,
Why should I need a coat?
Thing is, now I'm not invisible.
The only time you'll see me is now,
When I'm exposed to rain I can't feel.
Otherwise I'm invisible,
Exposed is how you want me/
You need my vulnerability.

- Title: Exposed
- Artist: Saduko Leyra
- Description: I walk to school without a coat when it's raining, or a slight drizzle while most people are bundled up as if it were snowing. I guess that's So Cal for you. But really it's the only time I'm noticed. People walk up to me and ask why I'm not wearing a coat, why I'm not cold. They think of me as a freak. XD that doesn't matter to me though. I'm a writer. I have to be eccentric.
