• Tonight, there are only clouds.
There are no stars to wish upon,
There is no moon to control Ocean's rage,
There is no light for guided direction,
Only darkness, to engulf this hallow shell.

And as the shadows are swallowing me whole,
It forces memories of a time thought forgiven.
The tears my actions have brought forth,
The pain and suffering these hands have caused,
The hearts and souls this shell has shattered.

Now embracing the dark, I seek penance,
But it offers no true salvation.
There is no grace to reduce my sentence,
There is no mercy to what I find myself in,
There is no hope of the light of the marrow.

To what is this tragedy to blame?
To who may I plead my case who listens?
Where must I go to cure this poison?
    I've only myself to blame,
Why should any open their ears?

Tonight, in the shadow of the clouds,
Engulfed in darkness having lost my beating heart,
Standing before demons with a crazed blood thirst,
I accept my fate, and the consequences thereof.
But know this, I will fight, until this shell fails.
