Opening my eyes to a cloudy sky
at the beginning of my early rise.
In between your sheets
and hairy thighs.
I’d struggle and fight to find my way out
and steal a f**
from your self-deprived sleep and
broken back.
To the balcony where you had
a couple of chairs
and a rolled bamboo hedge.
I'd take a seat,
start to sigh and recall
what we had done through the night;
with no sight only tact,
that I would find
when I opened and closed my eyes
Watching the tree sway with the sky
in harmony with it's leaves that would fall
with no say but only cries
for it's crown would not give up the fight.
You'd take a seat next to mine and ask for a drag,
one I could not deny.

- Artist: choklitreign
- Description: I felt like I lived through some of the most beautiful days in my self-destructive life with this person and I never really gave'em any credit. But it has not gone unnoticed. I've moved on to what feels like a better time in my life and I am okay with this. I just want to receive some feedback but I wasn't sure as to where I could put it.
