• The last link finally broke,
    The one holding everything together.
    The one we needed the most.
    You hammered it so hard,
    It snapped.
    And the anchor fell loose.
    Now the ship is running out towards the sea.
    Barely being seen.
    You let this all go far,
    And watched the chain fall apart.
    Everything was already shaking,
    And now it is all breaking.
    The last link holding the chain,
    Shattered.
    The chain kept the anchor to the ground,
    And now it is no where to be found.
    The ship is sailing out to sea,
    And I can hear it calling after me.
    Maybe I have always wanted to be free.
