It is the story anyone can read
And anyone can understand
Sending a varied message at each repetition
Like a diamond that twinkles differently
At each turn

It can reduce you to tears
Or drag out a bubble of mirth
Or cause your fists to clench
With each line

Poetry, the word elegance
And, in some strange way
Each poem, each verse, each line, each word
An elegant emotion
