The masquerade is here to stay
For as they hide their pure dismay
And go about life day by day
They watch their brothers laugh and play
With dancing colors gold and red
You never see a hint of dread
In search for their own daily bread
They wish for God to cleave their head
And I, my friends, in all you see,
Whose standing here in front of thee
Who share with you this dark story
Admit I, too, wear a masque of glee.

Hmm...not bad...the point of the poem is sort of lost in the rhyming.
I'd give it a 3/5 - Report As Spam
