Why the stars shine

• Description: When i was down i looked at the stars and wonder why they keep on, i wrote this poem for a school contest and won a ribbon and a $500 dollar reward. If you dont like it thats ok because people have different veiws with writing,but no creative art can simply be called "wrong" or "incorrect".

"Mommy why do the stars shine so bright?"
"Because maybe the stars have nothing to fear.They stay lit even though they know they will die soon they stay lit because they enjoy the time they spend shining,guiding the little critters when the moon cant,and bringing hopes,dreams,and wishes to come true. The stars are not afraid of of what may come then,but are happy for what the present can do for them.Thats why the stars shine ever so brightly."
