I don't think they can see

I know that no one cares
So it doesn't matter what I do,
Scream and cry, throw chairs.

Except my closer friends
Who try in vain to comfort me;
They think they made amends.

And I am smiling too
For even though they mustn't know
I'm nothing without you.

Everybody's smilin'
Their smiles can't get through
This broken front I'm putting up,
'Cuz I'm nothing without you.
