• You think Halloween
    Is about candy and treats
    A wonderful night
    Dedicated to sweets

    Unfortunantly, you’re wrong
    So think again
    Halloween is a night
    That was born from sin

    When witches cursed
    And witches took flight
    All Hallows’ Eve
    Was a tragic night

    People locked their doors
    Shut windows tight
    No one would be safe
    For this one dreadful night

    Ghosts would haunt
    Crows would cry
    Wolves would howl
    As screams filled the sky

It was said that small gifts
    As an offering, would suffice
Evil spirits would pass over you
    Sparing you your life

    But know this

    Hallow’s Eve
    Was a night to forget
    Candy won’t hide
    Your fear after sunset.
