I have an invisible pot of luck...
Within is both good and bad luck.
From day to day, and little by little,
I spill out my bad luck...
So when I truly need it,
All that remains is my good luck.
Some have told me that when
it is time to use this luck,
I should buy a lottery ticket.
To me, that would be cheating
and besides, if I did that..
All my good luck would be gone.
If I used up all my good luck,
I would not be able to share
this good luck with you,
and also with those who truly need it.

- Title: My Pot o'Luck
- Artist: Lady Silly Goose
- Description: My inspiration for my poem: When volunteering at the red cross, I have come across people who need to donate to themselves for an upcoming surgery. Most of the time, they are worried about the surgery and sometimes even about the whole process of the needle and taking a pint of blood for their surgery. I tend to tell them my belief of my pot of luck and then I sincerely tell them that I will send some of my luck their way for a safe and fast recovery.
