• Bloody Tears

    I cry these tears that hurt so bad.
    Why must I always be so sad?
    I scream so loud that my voice seems to break.
    It makes ripples across the lake.
    I wonder why I hurt so much,
    I can’t even feel your touch.

    My heart is broken, this I know,
    It’s bleeding from the inside oh-so slow.
    My eyes are drowning from all the tears.
    And my mouth will not say what it fears.
    My body aches to the bone.
    I think it’s because it is now alone.

    These tears that I’m crying are stained with blood,
    As I wither and die lying in the mud.
    I lay here alone, as I always will be.
    Just my bloody tears and me.
