The Philosophy of Humantics and the Importance of the Self
---As previously said, Intellect is the understanding of what is important and what is not. But as well as this, it is the ability to understand, and indeed is the ability to survive in the unnatural and natural worlds. However, the most important thing then is the self and the acquisition of said intelligence and knowledge. The self. Many philosophies before Humantics have stated that the self is most important, Objectivism for instance. Altruism is a vile tendency then, a self-destructive force that stands against natural instinct, and indeed, natural thought. The main issue with most is they believe to exist for the self is selfish. While in a literal sense that is true, it is not destructive selfish as they truly believe.
There are three steps in the scale of Altruism, those being Altruism, Constructive Selfishness, and Destructive Selfishness. Between true Altruism and Destructive Selfishness then, is Constructive Selfishness, and this form of selfishness is unknown and unnamed by most. This mostly unknown state is to live for the self, but expect no more and no less from anyone else. This is not destructive, but is instead independence--freedom.
---The mind and our five physical senses--our six senses--are our sole source of survival. We need to see, smell, hear, taste, and understand the world with our mind in order for our survival. To comprehend the dangers, how to defeat and avoid them, takes all six of the senses. One must strive to hone the senses then, so that they are not so easily tricked like ancient philosophers believed them to be.
---Because your ego is a great cabin of sovereignty amongst the swampy everglades that is the world. It is the most powerful, astonishing ability you have. It can move mountains, drain oceans, and change the face of the Earth and Human Society. And so it is as such; when you are confronted with the goal of Selective Apathy, do not be offended when people assume you care for their deconstructive opinion on you! To do so is to reveal that in which you attempt to deny! Do not say you're apathetic. Show it. This is, after all, simply the seemingly unselfish, unegotistical person's subconscious attempt at egotism and constructive selfishness. And so when you are faced with rash, unthoughtful opponents who attempt to succeed through baseless insults, show apathy--Selective Apathy--through action and word and reason.
---Articulate your destruction and suppression of their ego through the means of your intelligence. Understand simply and without explain the irrational quirks of your opponent to thus so defeat them. Because you do not argue to change your enemy. You argue to inflate your ego--the being that is "I"--upon everyone listening and watching. You argue for yourself. By means and medium of the masses, you are able to suppress another's ego. And one who is listening might ask; "But if the ego can move mountains and drain oceans, how can the masses defeat the ego?" And it is thus I give you this.
---Your ego is only as powerful as you make it. Thus to suppress an ego is to show the failings in the ego to begin with. To inflate the ego is to control the masses. That is, the being that is "I" has become now a Collective, a being--a singular being nevertheless--spanning over different faces, names, skin colors, ethnic backgrounds, regions of the Earth, height, weight, and gender! It is because of The Collective Ego that an ego can be suppressed. Because a crowd attempting to destroy and ego will inevitably be illogical, and especially against the ego of a Humantic Man, will never succeed. And when it does one must look closer to realize the truth of it--that it is no crowd but simply the extended ego of a powerful person. And once the enemy is understood through ratiocination and without emotion, it is the simple step of pulling upon the person's irrational strings, and the knot work of his ego shall fall.
---But as it has been said before, the only ego to fall is the ego that does not believe in itself. So one then understand that this never ends--this vie for power, for position over another. And that is fine, C'est la vie! That is life! There will always be in this world two types of forces in the very least. Constructive and Destructive. Good and Evil. Yin and Yang... Light and Dark. And through it all the self must be maintained for dominance and true understanding of such a world around us.
