Somewhere behind the sky,
There lives a silent friend of mine,
We pass each other alone,
In the hallways abandoned in night,
I wish that we could love,
Things should be more beautiful,
Hearts barren and wrecked,
From kindness we never did deserve,
He smiles a simple grin,
I should like to invite him to join me,
Alone on an island of bliss,
Surrounded by a sea of misanthropy,
Cameras flash and wave,
Reporters sell out their latest news,
Repenting for my bitter love,
No longer paying the paper boy of sin,
I wish I could love you tonight,
Held in your arms beneath the horizon,
Crying comes so easy now,
Strength is the absence of all emotion,
Bridge between the word gap,
Weathered fingers clutch around mine,
Distastefully draw away now,
Pretend not to see his sunken eyes,
Oh, I dream of you every night,
For pleasures in which I cannot partake,
Keep laughing gaily any longer,
And I'll have to fall to Earth and love you.

Description:
Ah, I write better angsty poetry, but I'm so happy again.
Don't worry, I'll fall back down and write good stuff soon enough. - Date: 02/23/2010
