Your promises you'd never keep.
Those 'I love you''s that helped me sleep.
I was a fool, I understand
To let you pull me in so deep.
I showed you my love, you showed me your lies.
You refused to be rid of your cliche disguise.
I have no clue how you do it, dear,
How you close your ears to my helpless cries.
You stay by my side, but for lust rather love,
Something you stand tall for, that you're quite proud of.
Now I sit here alone, I crave for your touch,
My innocence flies away like a fleeing white dove.
You smile, telling me to be strong,
Like you knew this would happen all along.
Just know I'll always be here for you,
No matter how right, no matter how wrong.

- Title: Loneliness of Love.
- Artist: just your typical creeper
- Description: This poem is about a girl who gives her all for the boy she loves, but the feelings just aren't returned. It is quite short, but I put my feelings into it all and all. Please rate, and give me your suggestions, thank you!

A very sweet poem. Shortness can sometimes make a poem powerful as we see here.
You are a good rymer and the only suggestion I have to give is to use symbolism and imagery instead of stating the point more, it makes it more beautiful in my opinion. - Report As Spam
