• I fall asleep onto my pillow,
    and it begins.

I'm back with my dog that is dead,
    him young,
    joyful,
    and obedient.

    I'm running for my life,
    for my freedom,
    for my heart.

I am also running for something else,
    my lover.

    He is waiting for me,
he is waiting for my love to kiss him.

    I start to get tired,
and the men are catching up to me.

I know that i must go on,
    to see the freedom,
    to see my lover,
to see the things I've missed out on.

So I take my broken wings,
    and fly,
fly where i can be with my dog,
    my lover,
    my dreams.

As I wake up on the clouds,
I see my dog with my lover.

    "Well, It's been a while," he'd say.

That would always make me giggle.

    I give him a kiss.
"I hope I'll see you around," I answered.

Then I wake up to him,
    throwing pebbles at my window.

    No, not a dream.

Him, really there, waiting for me.

I climb out the window and go out with him.

And he says "I came all this way just to see my angel."

    Now I know this wasn't a dream,
so I let it live on.

    Forever.
