There once was a star in a lonely sky
That, when looking at the others, would only sigh.
It watched and waited for others to stay
But eventually they would all go away.
So the lonesome star watched and waited,
Waited and watched for the night that was fated
for the star would find it's everlasting friend.
But the star eventually found, on fate, you can't depend.
So the star shone brighter and even twinkled a bit.
And on that very day it found the perfect fit.
It twinkled and leaped, shouting with glee,
"I found you, the one, my partner for infinity!"
And who would have thought,
With all that time has wrought,
That I can still see that not-so- lonely star in it's not-so-lonesome sky
Tinkling right here, in my lover's eye.

- Title: The Lonesome Star
- Artist: Jackadelia
- Description: I had to read a poem by Shel Silverstien today and I guess his style kind of stuck in my head. So I came up with a kind of cutesy poem on the spot.
