-
Thou art more beautiful than a summer’s bright day.
Thine skin is like a freshly plucked peach,
And thine heart is like a warm ocean spray,
Thy voice is like the soft sand at the beach,
And thy hair is neither night, nor day, but noon.
If thee should go, another day I will not see.
Thine figure is so fine to make me swoon,
And I desire to know what people’s attract thee,
I pray that I am one of those,
One worthy of thine attention.
For in thine sight, mine spirit glows.
I beg, do not make this love of mine own invention.
None shall place mine love away in a corner,
Or I shall be the saddest mourner.
