• WAR

    Drip drip,
Little girl home on her birthday,
    With her family,
    She is very happy,
She is only five years old.

    Drip drip,
Her mother died a year ago,
    She's holding her baby brother,
He just said his first words,
This is the best day of her life.

    Drip drip,
Just then there is a knock on the door,
A man asks for her dad,
Her dad yells at the man,
Then her dad packs his bags.

    Drip drip,
He gives her a kiss on her head,
And he says, "sorry honey I've been called to war."
He makes a call on the phone,
And he walks out the door.

    Drip drip,
30 minuets after he left a strange lady walks in,
The little girl was being taken care of by the woman,
The little girl refuses to eat,
Every night she cries to the sky.

    Drip drip,
A year passed and its her birthday again,
    He father still hasn't returned,
She sits in front of the door waiting for him,
In his letters he was supposed to return that day.

    Drip drip,
All the way in the battle field,
There is a man dying bleeding to death,
    His buddies are looking everywhere,
His blood is coming out and hasn't been found.

    Drip drip,
The other men find him dead,
The search him looking for his ID,
They cried when they found out who he was,
He told them about his family.

    Drip drip,
The men go to his home,
The little girl opens it with a smile on her face,
    She yelled out, "daddy!"
Her face went flat when she saw it wasn't him.

    Drip drip,
