• There were several chains that kept me bound
and a dirty old rag to muffle the sound
    All those chains inflicted pain
they tore when I pulled, my efforts in vain
and I could see my blood, for it stained the floor
The iron tinted smell, worse then before
Intoxicating me, I now can't see
limp on the floor, so far from free
The first chain is the lies you speak
the next is the happiness I once did seek
The third is the insanity which fills my mind
the forth is what reminds me I was left behind
and the last resides around my throat
choking back the words I try to promote...
but since your words were all a lie
to the first chain I can say goodbye
and since happiness I have not found
the second chain can be unwound
Since the first two chains are gone I found humanity
so goodbye for now chain insanity
and since I no longer care that I was left behind
the forth wretched chain can unwind
but theres still the chain that chokes my speech
This final lesson I will teach
the time I've been here has made me strong
so I'm just about ready to move along
and these words are getting harder to contain
so now I break the one last chain
