• I find my heart whispering to me,
To write you seven hundred and forty-six haikus,
And stick them up in places you go,
So you find them throughout the day,
And randomly get a poetic I love you,
    (I wish I could,
But I can’t get that close,
    I wish I could,
But they are all around you)

I find my heart asking me,
To sneak to you at night,
Just so I can tap on your window,
    And say “I love you,”
    Before I officially bed down,
    (I wish I could,
But I can’t get that far,
    I wish I could,
But I can’t get to you)

I find my heart telling me,
That I need to write a million things for you,
So that I can make you happy,
    Because someone so perfect,
Should never be bothered with a frown,
    (I wish I could,
    But they stole my pens
    I wish I could,
But they won’t let me write)

I find my heart screaming at me,
To tell the world I love you,
To admit to everyone that you are the only one for me,
To scream at those who don’t like us together,
That they need a better hobby,
    Than to patronize us,
    Since we are all equals,
    (I wish I could,
But I can’t find my voice,
    I wish I could,
But they won’t let me move)

I find my heart grows silent,
Whenever I need its advice most,
Like when I’m trying to sort through life’s pages,
It just likes to shut up for once,
So I can get some thinking done,
And decide what I need to do about them,
    (I wish I could,
    But I can’t think,
    I wish I could,
    But they’re suffocating me)

    I’ll give you seven-hundred forty-six haikus,
I’ll say I love you at midnight,
I’ll give you a million writings,
I’ll scream to the world I love you,
And I’ll tell my heart thank you,
For all its done to help me in making you happy,
    (I’ll do everything for you,
    Starting with my first haiku,
    I know I can,
Because they can’t hope to stop me)

    My heart longs for you
Thank you for giving your heart
    My life is perfect
