you all say love like its just a passing comment
you call it love anytime you come across a person
but why you knew them a month and you loved them
love takes time
takes effort

why do you all do it so
is it because your afraid
so afraid youll never get close to anyone again
that you have to call it love
like love means something
its just a word that we pretend has real meaning

some people say words lose there meaning
but what if words never had any meaning to begin with
were all so used to hearing the word
so does that make it lose its meaning
were so used to it
to hear someone say i love you
doesnt seem suprising any more
so whats the point in saying it when it means nothing
and it never did mean anything
love is love
like
the words
nothing is nothing
theres just no point at all in saying it
