    that you never see coming
    there's death and birth
    there's a babies first words
    a girls and boys first date
    and marriage in a few years
    skills you or i never knew we had
    new friends who will stand by you
    through good and through bad
    some may surprise you and turn you away
    they were probably there to still the others away
    life has surprises you never suspect to come
    but when they do don't break down crying
    or taunt and make others mad stare
    just live and go on knowing
    there will be surprises
    when the future comes to you
