I've seen the end of humanity from the top of the world.
I've witnessed children crawling on third street
only to become elders on fifth.
I've seen skyscrapers become houses for trees
streets become soil for fields
and lampposts become structure for vines.
I've seen buildings fall and bridges collapse.
From a lawn chair on top of the world
I've seen the rise and fall of the human race
with you by my side.
I've flown with you over vast seas
over deep valleys and ominous canyons.
I've brought you all over this great planet
now inhabited solely by creatures
driven by instinct as opposed to reason.
Being the last of our kind
is it not our responsibility
nay, our duty to our species
to repopulate the Garden of Eden?
But how can we?
How could we destroy a place so beautiful
with vampires.
Humans are the true vampires
that drain the world of its grandeur.
To create more of ourselves
would be to make true all we've witnessed.
So with no one to judge us
let's engorge ourselves in the pleasures of flesh.
We'll spill the blood of our young
onto the black suns within our hearts
if only to preserve this wondrous place.
Let us give in to this carnal nature.
Let us welcome sin.
Who will care? Not us
we'll be having far too much fun
killing for pleasure and being killed by our pleasure.
Let come the end of humanity
that we may discover the end of sanity
together, my love, forever...
