• The Unwanted Child

When the children come out to play,
You must think it a peaceful day,
But one child no one wants to be,
Is something you would never want to see.

For this child the sun doesn't shine,
And everything is definitely not fine.
Flowers wilt when it walks by,
Animals die when it heaves a sigh.

    It looks sweet and innocent,
But beware, something is surely bent.
    At night it wonders,
    It's prey it slowly ponders.

    In the forest it creeps.
    Near the lake it weeps.
    The child unwanted,
    Teased and taunted.

    "Poor thing!" you may say,
But mark my words: STAY AWAY!
