A familiar sound is heard within my ears.
The silence echoes bringing warm tears.
My eyes are mudded in a daze
And a smell of carnations surrounds me like a haze.
The darkest shroud of a curse you left on me,
Though you can’t stand to see my suffering as I weep.
My tears overflow bringing me to my knees
But knowing you still love me is all I really need.
Pain, sorrow, hatred, loathing.
They all tie together all making one dangerous meaning.
Like a rabid dog, that at the mouth, was foaming.
Needing to be needed, that’s all I asked
But all you could do was beat me with your protective words while hiding behind a mask.
I’m as dead as dead gets and what’s done is done
So leave me die in my sorrow knowing you won.
You won my life and my love.
I can escape now; fly away, like a dove.
Powder soft wings floating on a faltering wind.
Forgetting and forgiving I will do at your whim.
Just please don’t clip my wings and keep me grounded to the earth.
I will do anything to show you my worth.

Description:
This is probably one of the worst poems I've ever done. But, I still like it just because I did put some effort into writing it.
I hope you all don't hate it too much. lol
Thanks,
~Cre~
P.S. - It would be much appreciated if you let me know some feedback. ^_^ Thanks again. - Date: 06/07/2009

- It was very good but if you re-read it you probably could find something to replace or take out to flow together a bit better. I Do like it and with some tweeks here and there it could be one of the best. I give it 4/5.

- Its good and meaning full. All who don't agree hasn't suffered in life like we have. Although our suffering wasn't together, it doesn't mean we don't understand each others pain. I rate it 5 stars.
