    She used to watch his every move 
    Knew all about his interests, his life
    Looking out the window one night,
    She saw a lone glittering diamond,
    Studded on the velvet sky.

    Closing her eyes, she thought about him 
    The days they would spend together
    A longing took over her,
    A longing for love, peace, eternity,
    A longing for him

    Star light, star bright, First star I see tonight
    Wish you may, wish you might, Have the wish, I wish tonight 

    And whom else would she wish for but the one she longed?
    She opened her eyes to see the star twinkle in response
