Oh, U.S. flag, how sweet it blows,
And yet it knows no shame.
It waves in place.
It shows its face,
Controlling every game.
Oh, U.S. flag, without a heart,
Though blood red it may be.
Through all the earth,
Praising it's worth
From sea to shining sea.
Oh, U.S. flag, how great it wants
For every earthly thing.
Now, even more
Than times before.
To you we will not cling.
Oh, U.S. flag, without a home,
It can't relay its case.
Nothing can hear
But God's great ear.

- I like your poem and the way you described it,Thsi nation was set on morals and respect,of which you can hardly see today,thing have changed for the good and bad,though i do think the bad out weighs the good.

- It is actually quite good. I mean I would never be able to come up with anything like that. To say it's a political poem, which I have never really seen before, is pretty good =D This is your perspective of the US now and to be honest I kind of think the same. I'll give you a 5/5 =D

- It's pretty good, actually, I wouldn't have been able to write something this good while in a good perspective of America...Don't take me wrong, I live in U.S., but I just think of it as a once-perfect country gone wrong, you know what I mean? Anyways, 5/5~!
