• She sat by the window as the rain fell covering the world in it's cleansing touch. She looked outside as her book laid on her lap. Every memory, each one so sickly it was beautiful replayed itself horribly time after time again. Two silhouettes ran in her mind as the sun rose, each reaching across the sky as happiness bathed in every step. She closed her eyes as the silhouettes began to join into one, the higher the sun the more their love was covered in happiness and security. She gasped as the sharp pain of separation hit. The two joined silhouettes suddenly separated as a flash of thunder hit the perfect day. She gripped her chest as tears stained it's cover, as one silhouette ran into the happiness, the other stayed behind as rain fell. The horrible numbness that is loneliness covered the silhouette as she started to tremble. She thought, "Save yourself...please. Please..anything, I beg of you just run!" Suddenly the lonely silhouette ran through the rain, ran in the darkness as thunder hit it. The silhouette began to fall, and as it fell she felt it in her heart, she felt the death and sadness it had felt. As the silhouette hit the ground thunder suddenly revealed who the poor silhouette was, it was what had become of her. She got up and looked out the window, she pressed her hand to it, flinched as it chilled her to the bone. Looking out she bowed her head and cried for the sunshine that had gone as the rain fell, covering both worlds in the cold darkness as both figures slipped from existence.
