    you are the flower in the vase of my life
    the finch in her cage, the cause for precious strife
    and everything I fight against, or for;
    my beauty, my love, my reason to take more
    of all that life can hand a man like me
    or that the life savers can pull from the sea,
    they’re oblivious to being Oblivion’s clones
    like dogs that digging up burial bones
    in hopes to raise their masters from the dead
    have data not right, and futility unsaid,
    as boredom drags its claws upon my crypt
    like ghosts with chains the lifesavers equipped,
    but you by being there make the table bright
    where dining on dates we fix what caused us fright.
