From time to time
I look around
I hear the cries
No other sound

I feel their pain
I know it's wrong
How long will it last
Much too long

They are left alone
Without love
I want them to hear
Up above

Hush their cries
Heal their pain
Let them see sun
No longer rain

Give them life
Free them from death
Stop their gasping
Give them breath

Love them so
Make it true

They have value too
