• Fool’s Love

    He said that he loved me,
    He claimed that he cared.
    Then why did he throw away,
    The love that we shared?

    I am a fool,
    Thinking that he,
    Could love and care,
    And be faithful to me.

    I now know he's not,
    I know who I am.
    I know it wasn't real,
    Because he left me and ran.

    So now I sit here thinking,
    Not knowing what to do.
    Thinking of someone to help me,
    Never knowing who.

    There's no one else in the world,
    That I could care for more.
    Because every time he'd say my name,
    It would make my heart soar.

    Well, now that heart is broken,
    Not knowing how to mend.
    He can watch me fall to pieces,
    With all the love I send.
