Awaken, My friend

Prosper through light,
cunning in darkness,
Determined to soak through,
past the wrath of evil,
never before have I seen this form of nature,
within my grasp,
awaken my friend, awaken

[Idiosyncratic Quirk]

What comes to mind for me is a ray of light unlike any other, passing through earth and touching someone special, awakening that person with all the wisdom the light has gained through all the places it had been.
Maybe I'm reading into too much but I really think this is a good poem.
