• Sweet Beloved
    A rose a rose
    Turned black by night
Like a bird on the wind
Its petals so soft like feathers

    I find A rose a rose
    As beautiful as the moon
It glows alight by the stars

    By and By it grows
    From ash strewn ground
Alone alone It stands in the field
its soft red hue turned so black in the night
Dark as a raven, yet grey to the sight

arise the sun arise the sun
lets see him again so soon
and now has it come into full bloom
so true so true is its color so red
so bright it seems in the sun

    that rose that rose
which I have come to love
so beautiful as he is Sweet Beloved
    A rose a rose
