O Dionysus, God of Wine,
O God of parties, life divine,
For thee, my Patron, mine no more,
I remove myself, though love springs forevermore.
Inspiration thee did bring,
To bubble forth like a spring,
And my life, though lived well,
Has taken a turn from thy divine spell,
And now to Eros I do turn,
To help with love, and lessons learned,
But my love for thee shall not falter,
Thou shall not be forgotten at my altar,
My offering, tonight, is burnt, for thee,
And I’m released, and let be,
My name a tribute for thy masses,
I am Candice Dionysus.
((((Note: The way I pronounce certain couplets out loud is different from the way most people would pronounce them. My accent does rhyme masses with Dionysus, but its mainly the "ses" part. I pronounce sus and ses both as ses.))))
