For those who seek long life,
know there will be long years of strife.
Immortality is nice,
but it comes with a price.
Death will claim those dear to you,
before he comes and claims yours too.
The gift of long life is best,
yet also the worst test.
More of life you will endure,
that is for sure.
And Death will claim those dear to you,
before he comes and claims yours too.
There will be much suffering and pain,
until your tears exceed the fall of rain.
Those close to you will die,
until you're the last to cry.
Now Death has claimed those dear to you,
now he will claim yours too.
