If this was a fairy tale

They called it a moment of teen angst
Were they really too blind to see the true pain
Or just too arrogant

Maybe I should scream a little louder
Or fight a little harder
And jump a little further
Of course I’ll cut a little deeper

Because you aren’t a fairy tale
I’m stuck in this evil spell

It's as if the very thought of a fairy tale brings across a false dawn in people's head, that blinds them and binds them to what they see as perfection, as a lack of conformity, only when we see things for what they are, can we learn to understand the shear facts, there are no fairy tale endings, no knight in shining armor, no princess waiting to be rescued, nor land of peace and tranquility, we have our world, we have our emotion and corrupted relations, and that is all that we live for. 4/5
