• Your father lays you down to sleep
But in the dark I lurk and creep.
    You close your eyes, unaware
That here I come, teeth sharp and bare.
    The nightlight is broken,
    You are awoken,
But all you can see is two eyes and a glare.
As you try and call out, you feel your throat tighten
Your fear has twinged, your head starts to lighten.
No light shall come, no goodnight savior.
Such a sweet flavor, a taste I shall savor.
