How could someone lie to you?
    Do they think it’s easy?
    Do they feel guilty?
Do they know how it feels to you?
Just the thought of people lying,
Makes tears roll down your cheek.
And you don’t know any better,
    But to think,
    O’ to think,
    That you, are naive.

    Our Love

They say we met by chance.
    You bumping into me.
    They say our love,
    Was not meant to be.
    But they don’t know,
    What our eyes see.
    We see our love,
    Rising, O’ Rising.

    Like a balloon,
It floats to far to see.
Now I know that our love,
    O’ our love,
    Was not meant to be.

    The Monster In My Closet

My brother fooled me into thinking there was a monster in my closet.
I never go near it at night, for there was a monster in my closet.
As I slept, I noticed someone had left it open, just for the monster in my closet.
I see a purple arm inside, belonging to the monster in my closet.
I lean close to get a better look, of the monster in my closet.
I scream for I fear the ugly face, of the monster in my closet.
My Father runs in and hugs me as I tell him of the monster in my closet.
He Walks over to confront, the monster in my closet.
He reaches his hand in to defeat, the monster in my closet.
Pulls out the furry purple arm, of the monster in my closet.
And shows me my favorite purple sweater,
    The monster in my closet.

    Acrostics

Makes you hot cocoa when your sad
Only one who knows just how you like your tea
The first person to donate a heart
    Heroine of the household
    Everyone’s Envy
    Right, always right.

Gives you a shoulder to cry on
Is the one who understands when you’re feeling moody
Ready to fight who ever talks about you
Lends you the money for that top you just can’t afford
Fills in for you when you can’t think of a comeback
Ready for when you call about just about anything
Is the one person who knows your middle name
Every time you miss a day of school, they know
NEVER has to asks what you want in your coffee
Dares to correct you when your wrong
