Mostly, I'd just like to hate you,
disenchant you and berate you.
Shatter fantasies and feeling.
All this spite will be revealing
how you are when at your worst.
You'll try to shrug it off at first,
but I've got you; I'm right on track.
I'll bother you until you crack
and misspeak, stumble, get irate.
That other half comes out; Too late!
You've been made a fool by me;
A dunce for all the world to see.
And now at last, my work here done,
I'm off to wreck another one.
