Surely nothing can disturb your bliss

You dismiss it and try to stay strong

There are some things you just can’t ignore
Things are not as they were before
Acceptance scarce, but denial galore

You finally realize what had all along been
You were fighting a battle you never could win
Long gone are your loved ones and your kin

Life has brought you to the very brink
Despair tattooed on you with immovable ink

The Hangman’s necklace you will produce
Ever-lasting sleep you will induce

Over all it's very well put together. I especially like the imagery used. I would love to write music to this if you haven't already. 4/5....
and only because you said you did it when you were bored.So when you are intent on writing, it must be even better.
