An Experiment in Wordlessness

• Description: I pondered to myself, "How would one best construct a poem using emoticons in place of actual words?" This seems rather contrary to the inherent art of writing. However, I feel it provides an inexplicable irony that truly touches on the pure art found in poetry. It brings out the political frustrations felt by a lost and forlorn generation, expressing the frustration of being trapped in a society which it did not invent.
