• She sits by her window side staring into the sea,
The ship of dreams sails by in her eyes as a tear falls from her cheek.
Saying goodbye is the hardest thing she has ever had to say,
While she waits for the return of love, life and happiness.
Day by day passes as news comes and goes,
But no ship to confirm the letters of good times and sarrow.
Then as one day comes so does death,
As one will never return to her warm embrace.
Days drift into months where the pain she felt never leaves,
    And as the sun set,
    She sits alongside her window.
    Staring into the sea,
She raises her glass to prepare a toast,
As she tastes the sweet taste of wine and poison,
Her eyes become heavy and dazed,
And as she looks out at the sea one more time,
And as the blackness begins to cloud her mind,
The last ship pulls into the harbor,
The ship of dreams had returned.
